Honestly, the idea of partnering with my competition gives me a tiny pinch in my chest and anyone who knows me can attest that I’m a *little* competitive. 😅

Partnering with your competition isn’t immediately appealing, but if you spend some time thinking about it, it can make a lot of sense:

✨ You both have similar (if not the same) audiences, so you’re reaching your target audience through a partnership

✨ It should create social proof for both of you. If you’re both established brands, then it’s a nod of approval from the other

✨  With both of you promoting it, you should be driving even higher sales

✨  Together, you might give the monster in your marketplace a run for their money

You can partner behind the scenes on operations, on production with a limited-edition product or even partner on a charitable cause.

Remember that no one can do exactly what you do in the way you do it. There is more than enough market share for both of you, so have confidence that you’ll still be able to connect and serve your audience in a unique way.
